YOUR OWN VIRTUAL ATE & BTE EXPERT
Many firms including solicitors, legal costs lawyers, litigation funders, brokers and others in the legal space, would benefit from having an expert on hand to answer all those difficult questions relating to the often misunderstood world of ATE insurance. For a very modest monthly fee, you will have access via any virtual means of your choice to ask those questions, including BTE or funding related.
ATE/BTE POLICY WORDING INTERPRETATION
We are able to provide guidance on the interpretation of any ATE or BTE policy wording, review what is and what is not covered, and even compare one wording with another if you are considering a change of supplier.
ATE PREMIUM REVIEW & RESEARCH
We can review your current ATE premiums, or comment on any prospective ATE premiums or rating structures for RTA, EL/PL, Clinical Negligence, commercial cases and many others. This can help you identify if your current provider is within the market norm range, or outside, potentially exposing your client to more additional costs than is necessary. An independent review of your ATE proposition may be useful if an SRA enquiry arose on the subject.
CLAIMS DECLINATURE REVIEW
If you have had a claim repudiated by an insurer, and you think it should have been covered, we can take a totally impartial look at it, and provide you with a second opinion.
We can also review any disputes you may have with the freedom of choice rules for handling BTE claims.
£500 PCM MONTHLY SERVICE PLAN
A simple monthly service fee of £500 allows any manager or member of staff of the registered organisation to access our expertise if you have any queries or questions about ATE insurance, BTE insurance or litigation funding.
Ideally you would book a time for a telephone conversation, or video conference with a reasonable amount of notice if possible to assist with preparations. However, we will answer any calls immediately between 9-5 weekdays if we are able to do so.
The service is operative every working day of the month, and is subject to a fair usage policy to be agreed in advance.
