Evidence now in demonstrating that residential rent arrears are now running at a significantly higher level than pre covid-19. One of my managing agent contacts provided the following table noting the rapid increase in unpaid rent frequency.

This will have a very significant impact on claim frequencies and costs for those insurers with rent guarantee schemes.
